We're looking for an energetic, responsible individual to join our front desk team.
While prior hotel environment customer service is preferred, it is not necessary.
Other relevant experience within hospitality showcasing an eye for detail and commitment to responsibility will be sufficient.
Responsibilities:
Greeting and Welcoming Guests:
Provide a warm and friendly welcome to guests as they arrive at the hotel.
Check-in guests, verify their reservations, and provide them with necessary information about the hotel's facilities and services.
Assist guests with luggage and escort them to their rooms when necessary.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, ensuring guests feel valued and comfortable.
Handling Guest Inquiries and Requests:
Answer guest inquiries and provide accurate information about the hotel, local attractions, and nearby amenities.
Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and find appropriate solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
Assist guests with booking reservations for dining, spa services, or other activities within the hotel.
Handle phone calls and relay messages efficiently, maintaining a professional phone etiquette.
Managing Check-Out Process:
Collect payments from guests and process check-outs efficiently, ensuring accuracy in billing and payment transactions.
Address any outstanding guest concerns or requests during the check-out process and ensure they are resolved to the best of your ability.
Front Desk Operations:
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring it is presentable and welcoming at all times.
Manage the reservation system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for guest bookings.
Coordinate with other hotel departments to fulfill guest requests or resolve any issues that may arise.
Keep records of guest interactions, transactions, and feedback in the hotel's system.
Administrative Tasks:
Assist with various administrative tasks such as handling incoming and outgoing mail, faxing, and photocopying documents.
Maintain an inventory of office supplies and request replenishments as needed.
Support other team members and departments as required, promoting a cooperative work environment.
Enhancing Guest
Experience:
Proactively anticipate and address guests' needs and preferences to ensure a personalized and exceptional experience.
Provide recommendations and information on local attractions, restaurants, and events to enhance guests' stay.
Arrange transportation, reservations, and tickets for guests as requested.
Follow up with guests during their stay to ensure their satisfaction and address any additional needs or concerns.
Concierge Services:
Serve as a concierge, assisting guests with arranging activities, such as tours, spa appointments, or restaurant reservations.
Provide directions and maps to guests, guiding them to nearby attractions and points of interest.
Offer personalized recommendations based on guests' preferences, ensuring they have a memorable and enjoyable stay.
Special Requests and Celebrations:
Coordinate special requests from guests, such as arranging for flowers, special occasion amenities, or room decorations.
Assist with the planning and execution of celebrations or surprises, ensuring attention to detail and exceeding guest expectations.
Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless delivery of services for special occasions.
Problem Resolution and Guest Satisfaction:
Act as a point of contact for guests' concerns or complaints, demonstrating empathy and actively seeking resolution.
Follow up with guests to ensure their concerns are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
Document guest feedback and share it with the relevant departments to continuously improve the guest experience.
Upselling and Promoting Hotel Services:
Inform guests about additional services, amenities, or upgrades available to enhance their stay.
Promote and upsell hotel amenities, such as spa treatments, dining options, or special packages, to increase guest satisfaction and revenue.
Guest Relations and Loyalty Programs:
Build and maintain positive relationships with guests, recognizing and acknowledging returning guests.
Inform guests about loyalty programs and encourage their enrollment, highlighting the benefits and rewards they can enjoy.
Provide assistance and support to loyalty program members, ensuring they receive personalized attention and recognition.
