Position Overview Bread Alone operates 3 cafes in the Hudson Valley:
Woodstock, Rhinebeck and Boiceville where we offer our guests delicious bread and pastry, a curated line of beverages including coffee program through Irving Farm, and a full menu prepared in our on-site kitchen.
In many ways the cafe server is the public face of Bread Alone.
As such it is crucial that they provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional cafe experience for all of our guests.
Counter Servers must be passionate Bread Alone Ambassadors; they must serve as a source of knowledge and guidance for every guest in an effort to provide them with a consistent Bread Alone experience.

This is a part-time position with availability Saturday & Sunday from 10am-5:
30pm and Wednesday & Thursday from 10am-5:
30pm a must.

Responsibilities:
Keep focus on Bread Alone's core mission to consistently deliver high quality organic baked goods to the Hudson Valley and surrounding regions Embody the Bread Alone culture by centering teamwork, empathy, and resilience Perform duties safely and efficiently and in accordance with Bread Alone policy Have a full knowledge of all guidelines for safe and efficient operation of the stations you work according to standards set by supervisors, managers, and training materials Take ownership of your work and follow supervisor and manager instructions to ensure you and your team complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
Engage in your work with an understanding of its contribution and impact on the success of the whole operation.
Actively and urgently communicate any issues or observed variation with product or equipment on your station to the station supervisor Follow all applicable Bread Alone safety, GMP, culture, and food safety standards Take care to maintain proper, safe equipment operation as set out in training materials and by supervisors and managers Notify supervisor if calibration, routine maintenance, or troubleshooting of any machinery is necessary Complete delegated tasks at assigned station Be an active participant in your professional development by communicating effectively with your manager around areas of growth that you feel enthusiastic about Listen and communicate effectively with team members, provide feedback to supervisor on any issues and seek support when necessary Report to the supervisor any issues that arise in the course of your work Job Requirements:
Able to stand for long periods of time while executing tasks quickly and accurately Able to work in a physically demanding fast-paced environment Able to tolerate exposure to high levels of heat and cold Able to twist and bend repeatedly for long periods of time Respect for and comfort with a diverse and inclusive workplace Able to pull, push, move and lift to waist level and carry awkward and shifting weights up to 50 pounds Able to work with, handle, operate, and control hot equipment and products in a safe manner according to Bread Alone guidelines Able and willing to use personal protective equipment (PPE) and assigned uniform as required per company policy Willing to follow all safety guidelines set out by Bread Alone Willing to follow all applicable Good Manufacturing Practices which includes but are not limited to:
Removing any visible or exposed piercings and body jewelry, personal accessories, false nails & refraining from makeup at work (ie.
mascara or heavy foundation, lipstick) Willing to take responsibility for your own and others safety a well as follow safety rules and regulations and report any unsafe conditions to managementJob Type:

Pay for this position is $16.
50 to $24 per hour plus tips.
